To mark its 75th anniversary, the Museum Morsbroich is hosting the Morsbroich Art Days
around Morsbroich Castle on May 8-10, 2026. Since its founding in 1951 as the first newly
opened museum with a programmatically contemporary focus in the young Federal Republic of Germany,
the Museum Morsbroich has pursued the goal of presenting young and forward-looking art, fostering
public discussion, and providing it with a protected institutional space.
On Saturday, May 9, at 9 p.m., Laurenz Theinert and Friedemann Dähn will present an
audiovisual performance that will transform the castle's exterior into a multimedia experience.
