Dähn, Grözinger & Theinert

Immersive, audiovisual performance for 'visual piano',
cello with live electronics and percussion.

PH Weingarten, April 3rd, 8pm. From the moment, an ephemeral, visible and audible, constantly
changing work of art emerges, which allows viewers and listeners
to immerse themselves in the inner world of sounds and the
spectrum of overtones and the resonances in space. The immersive
light projections played live on the visual piano reflect the
sounds, transpose them into visible forms and let them shine,
pulsate, float and slowly disappear again in analogue or
counterpoint with the rhythms and melodies, always remaining
abstract and pointing to nothing. The three artists and musicians
consciously forego detailed specifications. Improvisation, free,
intuitive play from the moment, plays a crucial role in this
process, with the choice of style and the associated selection
of instruments and sound material as well as the beginning of
the piece being defined in advance.
